About usDr.Goverdhan Dutt Puri is a Professor of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India and presently working as Professor In-charge Cardiac Anaesthesia at Advanced Cardiac Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh. Professor Puri is a postgraduate of PGIMER Chandigarh and PhD in Anaesthesia. He has more than 30 years experience in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. including 2 Years as Professor and Chairman, Dept. of Anaesthesiology and Critical care, SGPGIMS, Lucknow, UP, India. from 1999 to 2001. A Fellow of National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India and Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute (PVRI) London, UK,, he is recipient of British Journal of Anaesthesia Scholarship and PN Berry Scholarship for Cardiac Anaesthesia. His keen interest are Computer applications in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Applied Respiratory physiology, Pharmacokinetic modeling, low flow anaesthesia. and paediatric cardiac intensive care. He is principal investigator for the closed loop anaesthesia projects and has more than hundred research publications in international journals of repute.Other members of the team Dr Preethy Mathews is an Associate Professor of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
